Please ensure your passport is valid for at least 6 months beyond your date of arrival in India and has at least two blank pages. If not, please renew your passport asap.
Most international guests (including U.S. citizens) will need an Indian e-Tourist Visa before traveling.
You’re welcome to apply for your e-Visa now, as applications can be submitted up to 120 days before arrival. Processing typically takes just a few business days, but we recommend applying early to give yourself extra peace of mind.
For most guests, the 30-day e-Tourist Visa is sufficient. A 1-year or 5 year multiple-entry e-Tourist Visa is also available if you may travel to India again.
